Who is Dylan?
Nina (Dylan) Gourley is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota. They are primarily known for their work as the Technical Director of Mounds View High School. Alongside this, with their sense of whimsy and their sunny disposition, they enjoy creating in many different artistic disciplines. They seek to continue to learn, create, and connect with others as they develop as an artist and a theatre professional.
My Story
I love creating in all forms. When I'm working in theatre I often serve as technical director. If I'm not drafting the show I build sets, build props, work with lights and sound, and board op for shows. With enough time and knowledge I can make anything. With experiences in production, backstage, and onstage, I aspire to one day immerse myself and others in alternate universes I create to escape the terrors of everyday life. I'm inspired by animation, ballet, and various other immersive experiences like interactive puppetry, the renaissance festival, the Bridgerton Experience, and more. I reject the banality of everyday life, enjoying fantasy and fantastic features as their favorite projects to work on. The world is a difficult place to live in, and for perhaps just a moment, I want to give people a break and space to play again.
